Streusel topped mince pie

Today I decided to experiment with a different topping for the humble mince pie. I’d previously made Frangipane Mince Pies which were delicious (I made a batch of those today as well). Flicking through the Mary Berry recipe book I spotted a recipe for cupcakes topped with streusel so I decided to see if the streusel topping would work on top of a mince pie.

We had them for pudding tonight with ice cream and brandy cream. Delicious!
